What is AI Day?
An AI program that provides engaging, self-guided activities for teams. AI Day provides an entry-point for business leaders and teams to adopt AI into their daily work habits. It empowers the AI Curious to explore, experiment, and acclimate to this new technology. Central to AI Day is the AI Activity Pack, which you will work through with your colleagues to spark understanding, wonder, and discussion about the potential for AI to help you in your work and life.
When is AI Day?
The inaugural AI Day was on February 29th 2024, but your team can use the AI Activity Pack and the other resources for your own AI Day whenever works for you. So, pick a date and time that best fits with your team's schedule. AI Day can last anywhere from an hour to an afternoon, or even a full day!
Who should participate in AI Day?
AI Day is designed specifically for the AI Curious. This includes those who feel a blend of excitement and intimidation towards AI, those who are acquainted with it but lack proficiency, and those who are intrigued but uncertain about where to begin. The AI Curious have heard about AI’s potential, and have perhaps even dabbled in it, but they need a trusted companion to help show the way. AI Day aims to do exactly that!
Where does AI Day happen?
Why should my team and I participate?
AI Day is the perfect way to introduce and acclimate your team to AI. The AI Activity Pack provides foundational learning and engaging activities for teams. In short, AI Day is fun, collaborative, low-stakes, and high impact.
What do I need to do to participate?
Unlock access to the AI Day Portal for all of the tools and resources you will need, including the AI Activity Pack.
What benefits and incentives will my team receive from participating in AI Day?
Participating in AI Day will give you and your team a firm foundation to confidently integrate AI into your day-to-day work. AI Day is also a fun team-building exercise — you'll navigate new technology together, and learn something about yourselves and each other along the way. In addition to team building and concrete strategies for applying AI to your business, some participants may be chosen to share their experiences and ideas on a Masters of Scale episode, the Masters of Scale Newsletter, and other Master of Scale community events.
How should I plan for AI Day?
The AI Activity Pack is designed for team collaboration – so all teams will need a task force to help implement and facilitate the activities and explorations on your AI Day. Recruit 3-5 team members for your task force, and make sure they sign up to access the AI Day Portal. This task force will need to send a calendar invite to the wider team; choose a venue (physical or virtual); peruse the Activity Pack beforehand; assign participants to groups of 2-6 people; and make sure group leaders have access to the AI tools used in the activities.
All team participants should also access the portal so that they have all necessary resources.
Was AI used in the creation of AI Day?
You bet! We at Masters of Scale practice what we preach. We have been experimenting and exploring with AI to see how it can best help our team innovate, accelerate, collaborate, create, and yes, scale! (We started by asking ChatGPT: “How do we plan an event all about exploring AI?”)
